About Us

Soon after the October 7th terrorist attack in Israel, an anti-Israel billboard was put up on Soledad Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita CA, by an organization with a deceptive name called "The Unity Lab." On June 25, 2024 concerned residents came together to speak about the safety and future of SCV at a City Council Meeting. The Council and audience were very supportive, but these residents wanted to take more action. This group founded the Board of the Santa Clarita Valley Jewish Community and Friends Committee to help create a stronger Jewish presence between the congregations and the many pro-Israel supporters in SCV. 

The SCVJCF Committee has members from each of the congregations, and works hard collaborating with the Rabbis and the City to create events that bring people together in fun and safe ways. We emphasize the importance of solidarity between the Jewish community and our supporters in times of heightened tension and misinformation. 

Solidarity between the Jewish Community and Pro-Israel supporters insures a united voice for truth, security, and heritage. It strengthens our ability to protect Jewish life, combat antisemitism, and uphold Israel's right to exist in peace.
